HP DesignJet 2500CP 36" Large Format Printer Plotter AS NEW NR NEW IN THE ORIGINAL HP BOX !!!!!!!!! I purchased this printer/plotter "as new" for resale. It is in what is probably the original box and pallet from HP. I purchased this from a large organization which stored it away over the years in case....... If you're looking for a printer of this type, then this is the one to get. Why settle on used. You'll have to budget for new print heads and ink cartridges, because of the age, that you'd also probably do buying a used printer. I haven't tested this printer, as then it wouldn't still be new. I cut the metal banding and examined the contents. On top are 5 unopened boxes and a white metal bracket, wrapped in plastic, about 3 feet long, called the Cross Brace. The largest box about 40-50 pounds is marked C4704-60093 W/O 1000058964, Model # C4704AR, Option (30P) : ABA, Serial No (s) ESD8716918. There are also 4 more smaller boxes. All this makes up the print stand. Underneath is the printer. On the left side is a large foam block which is obviously formed to fit the printer. On the right side the printer rests on a block of foam. There is also a large plate, called the Base Tray Assembly. While I think this printer should be recertified by HP for warranty, my assumption is that they'll only recertify it for a maintenance agreement. You should discuss this with HP. I don't have a lot of experience with this printer. I'm not certain the the printer is complete. I do know that if you look at the assembly instructions I don't see the Hardware, Software packages as mentioned on page 4. It's possible that they've already been installed, but I 'm not certain. I don't see any cables. The drivers are still available from HP as are the manuals and such. I can't find the install manual so here's a link to it. I do have the original CD with the "older" versions, and all the documentation. As I've stated I purchased this as being new. I'm concerned about the ink as I show in picture 6 and picture 10 on the roller. I do not know if these printers are tested before shipment which would account for the ink. Overall with my limited experience I would say this printer could be new. I tried to show you as many pictures as I could to give you an idea what's here for sale. I did not lift the printer off the base/pallet or out of the foam blocks so have only shown you what I can. This printer is a model C4704A. Packed with this printer was documentation indicating an original purchase price of $12,285.00 I offer it for auction with a $1,999.00 starting price without reserve.
